TOP 5 SABRINA CARPENTER SONGS

Updated: May 15, 2023

Sabrina Carpenter is the reigning queen of pop music and that is simply fact, not opinion. Sabrina has been churning out pop perfection since 2014 when she released her first single Can’t Blame A Girl For Trying. Nearly a decade later, the star has been consistently serving us hit after hit. With five impeccable albums and dozens of singles under her belt, it was quite the challenge to narrow it down to five top contenders, but alas, here we go.

5. Why -

This track never made it to an album, but was able to stand the test of time on its own. In this cute love song, Sabrina details a relationship that works so well although the two are total opposites. The song features an infectious chorus that will have you saying “We Work So Well and We Don’t Even Know Why” for days on end.

4. Decode -

In what is easily Sabrina’s most heart- wrenching track to date, the songstress vividly depicts the end of a relationship when there is nothing else to do to save the relationship that is dead in the water. Sabrina gives us the strength to stop re-reading the old text messages trying to find any sort of clue or hidden meaning to hold onto. Sabrina is there with us at the end to walk us through.

3. Already Over -

It’s impossible not to break into a two-step and smile when this song comes on. Sabrina dabbles into her country side for this track about an on again off again situationship.

2. Almost Love -

The moment I heard this song is the moment I was sure Sabrina had what it took to be a lasting force in pop music. I don’t know what Sabrina put in this track but it’s impossible to just listen once. Be it the melody, the funky unique background effects, or the beat; this song has all the makings of pop perfection. Sabrina tried something new with this song and succeeded.

1. On Purpose

I will die on this hill preaching that this is the singular (pun intended) best pop song of all time. The build up to the chorus is like no other. The beat drop at the chorus scratches an itch in my brain. The ability to be a sweet soft love song and a song that makes you want to dance all at the same time is impressive. This is not only Sabrina’s best song, but the best song.
